Spring Blooms...

As some of you may already know, I think  The Botanical Garden in Sheffield is a lovely place to visit at any time of year;  I love Spring though when the Magnolia and Cherry blossom petals are out in full bloom...  knowing that the flowering season is short I paid a visit recently to get a little floral inspiration and I wasn't disappointed.

After spending an enjoyable time exploring the gardens I took a moment to get out of the cold by walking through the glasshouse where I was surprised and delighted to see the Protea and the Bird of Paradise flowering brightly... a bit of a bonus getting some tropical trend inspiration ... on a chilly Spring day!
But back in the studio it's what I call the Wild West trend,  Cowboy & Cowgirls on the Prairie as seen on Dior catwalk, that I'm being reminded of as in the background I'm listening to the track "Say Something" a collaboration by Justin Timberlake and Country blues singer Chris Stapleton which I think works really well.  I love the official video that accompanies this song featuring the historic Bradbury Building in Los Angeles - now there's another space and place which would be great to visit...
