Happy New Year! ...I know a little late as we are nearly half way through the month, but the sentiment is well meant. Are you still keeping up with all those New year resolutions? Going to the gym, trying the new 4:3 fast diet, giving up something or doing more... Whatever the start of a new year is often a time for change and reflection, a time for new beginnings, corny but true... If you are a photographer you may, like me have been thinking about how to take things forward, and it goes without saying in all that marketing speak...you need a plan! Whether it's written on the back of an envelope or your plans are so big they need a roll of wallpaper to get it all down. A plan will give you some direction, a great resource for starting that plan can be found here at Photoshelter But as Beth Kempton founder of 'Do What You Love' states you are the captain of your own ship, and just because you have a plan it doesn't mean it can't be changed... it can, but at least it gives you a starting point... a focus. So whether you are a photographer or a creative in need of a little inspiration and guidance then you could check out the free New Years Revolution guide by Beth and her team to help you make January the month of real change and start you on your journey of new beginnings...who knows how far we will all travel!
