Have you ever been to Edinburgh? It's a beautiful city...and I'm sure that it's very festive at this time of year with the Christmas Markets and Ferris wheel. A popular place to visit whatever time of year are the colourful shops which line Victoria Street in the Old Town. Above is one of the spot illustrations which is part of an illustrated map that I recently completed of Edinburgh, the shops known as West bow at the bottom of Victoria Street are like many of the buildings in Edinburgh - tall tenements and quirky shapes an architecture lovers delight. Talking of delight, I'm hoping that Santa will be bringing me the latest album by Davy Knowles - The Invisible Man. I've tried not to listen to it all over on You-Tube, as I want that first listened to experience if you know what I mean, but from one of the tracks it seems he's gone back to his Rock -Blues roots and so I'm really looking forward to listening to more...check it out here. And if you know a happy wanderer who might be interested in an illustrated print of Edinburgh, you can now purchase one from my Etsy store - please click on the link below. As always, Thank you for reading!
