Bringing My Art Home...

In February this year we enter the year of the Fire Horse, a year symbolizing self - expression, creativity and action amongst other things...I don't know about you, but I truly believe that I can feel it in my bones already.
If you have followed my journey you may know that creativity and art is part of who I am, like many artists I have loved to draw, Illustrate, paint and take photographs, simply do something creative from a very early age. It has never left me, it's grown with me through various stages of my life...and now I can't explain it but I feel it's time for something different, as the singer Lukas Gonzalez says, it's "like the wind that whispers" and "fires roar" with the need to create art - abstract art. 

So for 2026, I'm bringing my art home...back to me, stepping back from the world of Illustration and focusing on creating Artwork with soft brush strokes, mark making tools from nature and simple materials...raw stripped back, sensitive...human made.

I'll share more of what inspires me, my process and artwork over the coming weeks...I hope you'll follow along on my journey.
