Autumn's Here...A Foragers Tale

Autumn is one of my favourite times of year, I love the colours and how the days are still warm with that little bit of a chill...misty mornings with dew on the ground and cobwebs highlighted in the morning sunshine.

So inspired by the season and the following lines from the Cecil Frances Alexander Poem - The Four Seasons:

Autumn's here, with corn,
And Thorn,
And ripe fruits bending down"

I created this whimsical children's illustration which I am calling The Forager's Tale. I mocked it up I would love to see it as a cover for a children's journal, or as part of a set of affirmation cards for children - let me know what you think?
